I am dying to see this full narrative come together. This was sort of a personal project, as it features a number of items and themes that I’ve been exploring, while planning my wedding.

Sometimes the best things come from a last minute desire to be out in the world. With barely two days notice, we put together an amazing project. I’m dying to see the rest of the images, including some that used a bouquet of wild sweet pea’s I assembled on the spot. That bouquet is still sunning on my kitchen windowsill.

Ah, summertime. Nothing like the wind on your skin, the heat warming your very bones, the weightless feeling in the pool, on a warm day….

Nothing like getting home, seeing your mascara on your cheekbones, your skin peeling and raw, or already forming acne…
Especially when you know how spectacular the images will be! I don’t know if I’m happier, or more neurotic, because most photographers post preview images on facebook while they finish their final selections and editing.
These images were shot last week, in Newberg, Oregon.

A week ago, Ty Milford pulled together a team of models, and myself, to take a hike up to the hot springs. I absolutely love the images! Our narrative was “A group of friends on a road trip”, and everybody made it easy to forget that we weren’t a actually group of friends on a roadtrip. I’m having a CHORE of a time trying to weed the images down to put up on the website. I know I shouldn’t use more than 10, tops, but I LOVE the atmosphere of them,

Just did the most amazing shoot for a very talented accessory designer. Elizabeth Perry Collections has the most unique range of stuff I’ve seen in a long time. Burlesque-y sequined headpieces in colors both neon and neutral, frayed fabric flowers, textural and delicate jewelry, lushly patterned headwraps…. Liz is SO talented! Everything about this shoot was impeccable. The wardrobe provided by Shop Mapel made my hate my own closets contents, and Liz’s desire to go bright or go home created a really interesting tie-in between all of the crazy elements. I’d wear any of this.
